There's a reason why he's "formaly of Celtic"..... Heck, let's just get Tobin back and waste our money completely.

McDonald would be a vast improvement over what the club currently has in place, which is no DOC and no trainers! Sending the President out to assist teams in training is asinine, he lacks soccer skills and all of the teams he has coached in the past have been bottom tier teams. If I recall correctly, the President of the club told parents at the start of the season, your kids will have more training by professionals this year then they had under Tobin. Okay, when does this expert training begin? Please don't trot out Al Sousa as an expert, everyone knows that he drove Largo United into the ground and the club had to be taken over by TBU.

Saw an email through the city of Dunedin that the Dunedin Stirling were going to name a DOC by mid December. Word going around is that Al Sousa will be named the DOC at the club.

Al Sousa is going to Dunedin, and JM going to TBU West.

0% chance that either one will go where you say! Sousa has no chance at Dunedin, he is not liked by the competitive team parents and his time as interim DOC has not went well, he promised alot but the training has declined. Jimmy is not going to TBU West, they don't play longball and thats all he knows, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Jimmy end up as the DOC of Dunedin, since Dunedin is a similar bad club to where he came from Celtic.

Rumor has it that the new DOC is from WFF , Dunedin will become part of WFF, as a satellite campus. Dunedin competitive teams will retain their names, but will be merged with the B and C teams a t WFF.

Seriously, why would WFF even contemplate a merger with Dunedin, what's in it for WFF? They have nothing to gain, Dunedin has very few competitive teams and the teams that they do have are terrible. They have a small rec program and are land locked in regards to establishing playing fields. Besides, everyone knows that the club is in the midst of a power struggle, as most of last years parents have relocated to other clubs and the current President is considered a knucklehead. THere are basically three clubs in Pinellas that none of the other clubs in the area would consider merging with due to the issues at each club: Dunedin, Celtic and Oldsmar.

Dunedin will hire the person that will take the least amount of money, period. With the current leadership there is no long range or short range goals of improving the club, they are just trying to keep the doors open due to the loss of about 75% of their patrons from last year.

Heard the same thing that Sousa will be the new DOC,if thats the case we will be out of Dunedin. My son had him this year for two training sessions and it was absolutely worthless training.

Why the hell would he want to be DOC at Dunedin? He never trained at the Dunedin complex...

If it's true, I can assure you that the current President of Dunedin will be asked to step down.

Sousa not in the running at Dunedin, down to two finalists, the assistant director from WFF and a former director of youth soccer in Germany.
