One of the worst coaches Mass has ever produced and that is comparing him to some awfully shady characters.

The team also never scored during the game we saw. I was looking for a team to teach 1v1 skills and attacking. Is there a preferred alternative to that style?

My daughter played for FM and he works on basic skills. He does a lot of small sided games and played players pretty fairly in games. He is tough but for the mental errors and little things. He is a solid coach at U13 and under. He does lack the tactical awareness of the current game with his forward style of play. Would be smart to coach teams up to U12 or U13 and pass on to more tactical minded coaches.
NEFC coach at this age is no different. BM is the same as FM in personnality and coaching ability. They are both cut from the same cloth, old school soccer.

In all seriousness, FM probably has been the top coach in the state for the past 15 years. No one other than perhaps JD has come close to his overall record of success.

The guy basically has Aspergers. He's never on time and his coaching approach is nothing short of Attila the Hun. From a soccer standpoint he drills the basics hard but often to the detriment of other parts of the game. If your kid is not a striker who can carry the ball 1v1 against the whole other team he has no use for you.
