The truth hurts. Baltimore "hasn’t been “neglected.” It has been misgoverned into the ground."
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake told police to stand down, to give rioters "space to destroy". And destroy they did! They destroyed their own community, not that of the great white satan who oppresses them. I wonder anyway if she would have given the same orders if it were the gated community where she lives that rioters chose to burn down. "It's only property" after all.
Now Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby, only 4 months on the job, indictes the 6 officers just hours after receiving the medical examiner's report. Experts on both sides of the political aisle indicate that she has overcharged the officers which will make convicting these officers nearly impossible. Expect riots part 2 when the officers are found not guilty.
Incompetence at every level.

Two good ways to destroy a city:
1. Let democrats govern it
2. Firebombing

Excellent. Let's hammer and mock the blacks a little more. Fits more nicely into everyone's wheelhouse.

P.S. People who work for a living have precious little free time. Never mind the time to protest, riot and loot. Having to make it to a job has its own curfew.
Pass the chips!

Today's liberal govt officials:
You have the right to destroy those cars if you're upset.
You don't have the right to refuse to bake a cake

This thread has proven one thing loud and clear. Racists love being racists...and actually get giddy about it.

"Martin O’Malley (D) says he plans to announce his presidential campaign in Baltimore. Perhaps he’ll used a burned-out police car or a looted storefront as his backdrop. The former Maryland governor and Baltimore mayor tried to blame last week’s unrest on structural problems in our economy, outsourcing and a failure to invest in infrastructure. Nice try. The fact is, O’Malley and the Democrats own Baltimore and the disaster it has become.*
It’s not his legacy alone. The last time Baltimore had a Republican mayor was 1967, nearly five decades ago. Indeed, the state of Maryland has had just two Republican governors since 1969 (and one took office just four months ago). Baltimore is a deep blue city in a deep blue state. The mayor is a Democrat. Every member of the city council is a Democrat. The school system is run by Democrats (and their teachers union overlords).
So when you see Baltimore on fire, Democrats built that.
Today,*the national poverty rate is 14.5 percent, which is virtually unchanged from 1966, when most of Johnson’s Great Society programs first took effect. In Baltimore,*the poverty rate is even worse, with 24 percent of all residents and 35 percent of children living below the poverty line. The unemployment rate for black men in Baltimore between the ages of 20-24 is 37 percent. To put that in perspective, the unemployment rate during the Great Depression was just 22.9 percent.

No matter how hard you try, you just can't get away from the facts. And here are but a few, courtesy of that right wing rag, the Washington Post.
