So where are you going now?

I have had one of the best soccer seasons ever with Massive. They are the most supportive coaches that encourage creativity and confidence in the players. No drama this year at all, up front with parents. My child has improved greatly in there system of coaching and has gone beyond their potential. It is a great choice for any competitive player and will be a driving force in the Stuart area for years to come. The information from prior posts about Massive are false, they have had success at every age group this last year, especially with teams that have only been together for one year, playing at a high level and in very competitive tournaments and divisions. If interested, one should really consider them as an option and until you are part of the Massive club, you will not fully understand the family atmosphere that they have instilled at TCU.

I would agree that they are very good individual trainers and would recommend them for small group or individual training. The issue is not with the quality of the trainers or even the quality of the club design itself... It's a simple numbers game. From the u-13 level and up, there are not enough very good/elite level players to go around. There are "good" players that are working hard to develop but they are not on the next level.... Then you add in the geography and the number of existing clubs, it becomes difficult for a smaller club to add top players... Depending on age group, you have established clubs trying to compete for players and there are not enough to go around... Mako, PSL up north (and if the player lives north they could choose Central Brevard as well)... Jupiter United, FC Florida, Wellington, Nomads, Massive all in Northern PB County... Elite Players may also choose ECNL (Boca United) and NPL (several clubs) now or even Sunrise if willing to travel... I believe you just need to set the priorities that are important to you regarding your child's development/playing experience and find the situation that fits her best.... Hopefully wherever you choose, she has fun and gets better... Good Luck!!!
For the U14g / U15G in Martin County/PSL county there are not many options.

Mako folded their U14G team this year, FC has a team - but they practice all down south at Dryer Park. Nomads & Jupiter are hit and miss. Massive just started this year, so the older ages are a little thin. The U14G at Massive just won the Palm Beach Cup,and took 2nd place at the Disney Tournament. The training is pretty impressive (and expensive) at Massive, but FC is clearly the dominant team with it ranked 3rd in the state (and just winning the Florida Cup). The only downside to FC Girls is that from what I hear, they are pretty set on their roster before tryouts.

Oh the irony. Accomplishments such as 2nd place in Disney Memorial and winner of Florida Cup, and Palm Beach Cup.....all Mickey Mosuse events.
Sad truth is South Florida is knee deep with B options.
                      It's an hour+ North/South for real stuff

In my opinion TCU Massive is one of the top programs in North Palm. Everyone complains about the cost, but it is a great value for any player. Sure, Hobe Sound, Jupiter, PBG and PSL are cheaper. They do not have coaches that have the credentials and are committed to bringing out the best in every player. Massive does not allow players with big egos to take over their club. If you want your son or daughter to play to their fullest potential rather than win games, you should consider Massive. Especially if they are younger (U9-U14).

The joke is on you. In a couple of years you will be asking what you were thinking when your child has not developed. The numbers at tryouts indicate that TCU is gaining momentum. No need to bash other clubs. If you like where you are at, stay there.

My son plays elsewhere but we participate in their training series, clinics, camps whenever possible. Worth the drive, the training is consistently as good as anywhere. Don't know if or when they'll catch on fully as a club, with all the other area clubs out to get them, FC banning extra training with them, Makos and Gardens and Nomads bad-mouthing them every chance, that idiot at Jupiter (Didiot?) turning them in for violations every club and parent ultimately commits, including the Didiot himself. Seems like they're fighting the tide but great training is great training.
