The Chargers DA has paid coaches - none of whom are parent coaches.

If there were other coaches involved in last night's ID tryouts, you should not assume those coaches will play any DA role during 2014-2015.

How many 00 boys? Any 00 that stood out from the rest of the group? Is it worth it to take my son to the next session on Sun at LWR?

It looks like Boca United will only have academy for 2000 2001. What happens to all the 99 players that came over to play U-14 academy and now it looks like no academy for older ages? Will players stay or go to another DA like Weston or another club? Any word out there?

How many times will this question be asked?

              shutup hoebag,

You have no clue what the hell your talking about.

Tell me somewhere else top players are going to be playing against
              the best in the state.

Everything else is just watered down.

You want to talk about a mess, look at everyone single one of the local
clubs in the area, everything is a mess dummy!

This program is growing and will continue to improve each year.

Totally disagree. The training has been excellent and competition at the highest level in the State.

That having been said there is a void between 99/00 and 97/98. Everyone is worrying what will the 99's do next year. It is simple - if they are that good and show National Pool potential then a good DA Coach will recognize that and put the 99 in the mix. The parents have to accept that the player may not get as much play time as the 98's but they will benefit from training, exposure and be better positioned for following year.
If they can prove that they can hang in there with the 98's then they should get fair field time. They cannot be just "good" they need to be "very good".

If they only want to win trophies then do not do DA.

Look at the rosters of the current 97/98 da teams each roster has 4 to 6 98s in the mix.
CLW DA has 19 on roster 13 97s There are 13 spots to fill if the current 98s come back.
Other DAs will be simular numbers. Just reality

We were asking about Boca United who does not have 97 98 DA only 2000 2001.

                      Dude,

What do you think is gonna happen, this is been asked so many times
                      before on the forum.

They need to go to a Full Size Academy like Weston or Kendall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How hard is that to understand or figure out.

TBU had their first DA try-outs this past Sunday. I believe Clearwater had their first try-out last week.

My son went to the TBU try-out. Decent group of boys came out although I am not sure what the in club vs outside of club numbers were like. How many 2000s are staying on the team from this year?

Thoughts on this team? Is it worth the drive from Brandon?

We have gone to both ID sessions (CLW and TBU). There were more kids at CLW, but the talent level was much higher at TBU.

As far as the # of 2000's from current TBU team, there are only 4 that are full time and they will all return. The 2000's at TBU that were not full time, most were DP's at one point throughout the season and of those that were DP's, plus some that were not, will all be trying to make the team. What you will have is the best of the 2 state cup teams from last year that TBU had at U-13 now coming together. It would be good to get some other outside talent to round it out. It will certainly be worth the drive and there are other former Brandon players currently making the drive playing on the current TBU U-13 team that have certainly felt the drive has been worth it.

If you get offered a spot, jump on it.

What is happening with the U13 premier team? I recognized 2 boys from that team at the tryouts yesterday but it seems that most were not there and rumor is they are keeping that team together and not playing DA. Not sure if there are enough strong 2000s and 2001s on other teams but assuming that the current DA players were at the tryouts yesterday it did not look like they had a lot of additional players to choose from. Curious to see if more come out to next date.
