Does anyone know what happened in Lakeland with U13G's coach, Joe Lenard? Why was he fired?

He had a lot of success in the past, and recruited new players this year, making the team better than ever. His team had good prospects for the coming year.

But apparently Lakeland FC fired him after "a group of parents complained about him" ? Something does not seem right about that. Does anyone have any information about what really happened?

Heard he was definitely removed. Don't know details but if history is any indication, as well as knowledge of issues with other AA teams, it was his opportunity to cherry pick the next best option within the club to hope to have some success on the field.

It would be nice if you would just mind your own business. If you were a business person and left your job would it be everyone's business to know what happened? If you have questions and you are a part of this club maybe it would be better to talk to the person/persons in question. But you should know there is always more stories that are untrue on this blasting blog than are true.....get over it.

Fair enough. Joiner was a member at large on the board also and resigned along with leaving his team. Cleaning house was long overdue. Glad to see it taking place.
