I do not think it will help our Comp teams since Jysc has zero talent left
Just do not see kids coming from clay or anywhere else because of this merger.
JYS has lots of talented players like every club. It is about coming together to offer the best development opportunities for the players. This will help Jax / St. Johns area have a bigger pool of players to build competitive teams. Teams close in skill can gain from scrimmaging and sharing best practices, resources and such. Kudos to JYS And Creeks directors!

      If true

If this is the truth, and I skeptical of anything I read on this site, it could be a very positive thing in a lot of ways if done right and egos could be put aside.

There is definitely no talent coming from any of the board members kids. It is quite sad that they have to be board members for their kids to get more playing time.

Does your club not have any teams playing NFYSL or Region B? Are your teams in a league of their own?

Yes. Our B,C and D teams play age in those leagues
Our Top teams play up in age for NFYSL and also FPL
Looks like Creeks/JYSC will be well represented in upcoming DJSC tournament with one team going from both clubs (Creeks u13 girls)
Until your clubs can produce more than one or two competive teams from the 3500 recreation players you have to then take pride in playing NFYSL
Embrace who you are and enjoy your kids

Few clubs are invited to FPL. Teams can not be invited into FPL imless have club-wide backing and politics. With the right leadership and systems in place CKK and others will be at top regardless the league. Enjoy the kids.

The FPL has taken the best clubs from each area in Florida. If your club is not one of them, then competitive teams can play FSPL.

U15 CKK at top of FSPL. FPL is under US Club and lets in 12 clubs, political process with board members. These teams in FPL must also play in a second league to be able to play in the FYSA State Cup.
