they did use to allow you to pay up front for not volunteering hours back to the club, but not sure of fundraisers. only know that there were kids playing that never even paid fees to the club, for uniforms, etc., so nothing would surprise me with BR.

No - FCS is as bad as BR. And it won't get any better with GH in charge.

It is difficult and costly to get into the boys program at IMG, but not so for the girls program and the cost is a fraction of theirs and very comparable to other local girls clubs, in fact I'd say it is a no-brainer if your kid has talent.

Anyone have a good idea of how many rec and competitive (all levels) soccer players there are in the Manatee area versus Sarasota? or website(s) where numbers could be obtained from? real numbers.

that was over three years ago! thinking LWR Chargers has just about folded... FCS probably has fewer teams as well. BR may be growing, IMG is probably the same and I believe Magic is trying to resurrect itself, Manasota is still around with a few teams, though mostly rec I think. well done Manatee County!
