2pm - Natick vs Hingham rematch
4pm - Bishop Feehan vs Medfield
6pm - Medway vs Central Catholic

It was a fast paced soaking wet ping pong match.

There was very few dangerous chances by either team. The best chance was by WH on a rebound that the Hingham GK quickly closed down. Majority of the chances were from distance. Most of the play was, as the previous poster noted, kicking the ball back and forth through the midfield. There was some speed by both teams but frankly do not see either of these teams challenging in the south. Jmo

ever heard of parking the bus to get a result? Or playing defensive minded players instead of regular lineup?

This. I know coaches who will put a bruiser defender into the 10 just to knock some bodies, cause some mischief and see what develops. Sometimes the match-ups aren't ideal for your roster and you have to get creative.

So what happened to last year's Wellesley coach...a pretty well known player in her day that did a real good job in her lone year there (they were in a down period for a few years)?

Wellesley 0-0 Natick. Terrible conditions. Natick with most of the possession and shots. Wellesley worked hard. Old coach moved out of state. She's a big loss to the program.

Mansfield's convincing 4-1 handling of King Philip resulted in a jump to No. 4; meanwhile, the No. 10 Warriors dropped seven spots with their first two losses on the year. Elsewhere, Notre Dame Academy rises back up the rankings, securing No. 14 with big wins over No. 11 Norwell and Silver Lake. At No. 16, Concord-Carlisle is the lone new entry, making their 2018 poll debut with a perfect 6-0 start. Records based on scores reported to the Globe.

Unfortunately- it looks like this year it is... Concord-Carlisle should be a different story by the looks of it.

South is a strong side this year. WH does not have the weapons they've had in the past.

South has 1 player and no one has concentrated on marking her yet. Albeit, good season so far.
