Note also they have 14,000 players in the program. Only charging half to 200 hundred players I think they can afford to do it. Smart financial move by the pro teams owner to get in on the youth side. I'm sure he's charging the club a fee to put the logo on the jerseys.

Now if only our shallow pocketed Breakers owners would sell out to someone with similar vision and deeper pockets

Bad ownership is bad ownership. If you look at Boston pro sport history and cross reference the valleys of each franchise it will generally show that poor ownership begets poor results. Does anyone really want to go back to the days when Billy Sullivan owned the Patriots? That is basically what you have right now with the Breakers ownership group. A poorly capitalized owner.

Maybe so but the North Carolina FC has 20000 players. How many does NEFC have? 2000?

There are no programs in this region that have even half the numbers CASL or Triangle do.
Breakers partnered with arguable the second largest, but most successful program possible. That was/is good vision and adds $$!

One basic truth that all of the nuts on this site always seem to overlook whilst they are promoting their most favored club and or league. In order to compete head to head against clubs like this you really need to merge all of the clubs in the state into one entity.

yes far too much fragmentation around here. our "mega clubs" are a joke compared to other parts of the country. bigger isn't always better but is the the trend.
