For example one club in south florida made close to 4 million last year. 50% of that money was for salaries. The rest is for expense. This particular club has friend and family in the uniform business, maintenance business, food business, and other businesses that would service the club. In this one particular club the head honcho owns a few of the businesses. Is the picture getting clearer. Don't be fooled by these people. The clubs and the coaches will be fine.

All I think you will see is that those kids on those lower level competitive teams will move to rec due to reduced incomes.

And honestly, I think it would be more fun for these players because the shorter field will encourage end-to-end play regardless of any skill level disparities.

And between needing only one referee and shorter games it would ease the problems we currently have with referee shortages.

- Most are smart enough to lump salaries together so you can't see what a typical coach makes. A higher ranking person like a DOC might be listed but not always.
If coaches made so much money why do so many of them hold another nearly full time job on top of coaching?

If you can collect several thousands of dollars a year by spending 2-3 nights a week on your phone outside in the fresh air while kids kick a ball around wouldn't have a full time job in the day to maximize your income??
