No soccer clubs right now are hiring anyone, never mind a guy who needs a big salary. The landscape is uncertain until months down the road. Many clubs are on a shoestring budget as it is and can’t pay staff right now.

The question is how long will FESA continue to pay Bubb 15K per month to do nothing? Everybody knows FESA has built up decent cash reserves so they could pay Bubb off at the right time just nobody thought it would be like this. If the club was smart, they would give 30-day notice and shut down and stop all cash disbursements until it was time to bring the club back when they will need cash to do so. But they are not smart and will burn their cash reserves keeping Bubb and a few of his pals whole.

How is it they can’t pay coaches? There was no more Fesa tournament scheduled...so no loss of revenue there.
Most parents were paid in full for the year already....
Regular season does not generate income....no ref fees...so where is the $$$$

Doesn’t Fesa pay the coaches each month? The coaches will continue being paid like Bubb for virtual soccer training.

If anything they have more money now than they would have it there was soccer going on. Think about it, they have already collected all the fees for the year yet are not paying out anything except budgeted coaches salaries. The are saving money on field maintenance, ref fees for North Fl league games, Ref fees on Rec games and I'm sure on any number of other expenses that are dependant on practices and games being played.
