Agreed. First, no idea whether the Spring season will even be played. Haven't heard a strategy for refunds, credits, etc. Second, the whole annual contract is done. We have no idea if this virus is a one-and-done or going to be with us for years and continue to flair up. Do not take on the risk of paying for a whole year while there is uncertainty about life returning to normal with this virus. At most, pay season to season. If clubs aren't willing to do that, find one that will.

That is the new reality. The clubs that embrace it will survive. The clubs that try and play business as usual will not survive.

If life is not returning to normal, the least of your concerns should be about youth soccer contracts.
      But thanks for weighing in...

Life is not returning to normal. Oil is the lifeblood of the economy and it just printed 25 a barrel on the tape. Oil futures is a leading economic indicator...

As to club contracts, too many families sacrifice to have their kids play club sports. Too much uncertainty right now to commit to any new financial contract. Don’t do it.

You also don't know what clubs will survive and in what form. Signing now is foolish.

On the brightside by only paying $1.29 at the pumps I'll be able to afford club soccer
