    So what now?

Now that life has been completely changed forever, what is the plan? Is every time flu season, lice outbreaks, chicken pox, [insert disease]! Around life has to come to a complete standstill?

When will it be safe to live again?

All this because some morons dont know that when you are sick you stay home. Yes you, that parent that sends your kids to school medicated when you know he or she is as sick as a dog.
You when you have to go out with a sore throat because you can’t stay home.

    So what now?

This is coming back in the fall\winter, what then?

When is everyone going to feel safe again outside?

There is no all clear day. All this is doing is prolonging the inevitable...but we will all have to rejoin society.

What an absolute wake up call to a society that does not realize they are manipulated, and controlled.

Does no one notice what is going on?

Well, with flu you have .01% of dying, with this virus you have 4% of dying and is spread by air, last 3 hrs on air, 24 hrs on a cardboard surface and 72 hrs on a plastic surface. You decide your chances. Hope you don’t get sick, because is impossible to enter or get any real treatment at “hospitals” / businesses, and you won’t get a hold of any real doctor in a pandemic.

Flu odds are low because of vaccines vas soon as they develop one for corona, it’ll be the same. Corona is like the flu prior to the vaccine. I think I read the “normal” flu has killed 22,000 this year. Run for your lives!

Flu death rate is 0.1% of infected not 0.01%. With coronavirus we have no idea because most (over 80%) of the infected are not showing symptoms (called stealth transmitters), and there are not enough testing kits to determine the number of infected with and without symptoms, but if we knew the actual number you'd see that the death rate is not 4% but a lot closer to flu at well under 1%. The main difference may be its virulence (how rapidly and how many infected), which results in a higher overall number of deaths than typical flu (we project - right now the total number of deaths is nowhere near what we see for a typical year due to flu).

We have the same immunity deficiencies against rapidly evolving Coronavirus as we have against rapidly evolving influenza. Virulence is higher, more like colds.

This is just a new seasonal strain of cold, but more lethal than typical cold, resembling flu.
There have been less lethal strains of flu, resembling more a typical cold too.

The real disease X of the future will be something far more fearsome like super-virulent Ebola so we better get prepared now with the proper R&D both academic and industry (incentivized). And yes, shady countries are working on bioweapons which can escape so that needs to be addressed to.

I heard the same on the medical industry, totally true! Stay safe people. Hopefully warm weather can let us peek out.

Let everyone catch it. The strong will survive the weak will die. Natural selection. There is no need to shut
down the country. Beside why is the public not inform of who has the virus? This would allow everyone to know if we have been in contact with these people. This would be the most logical thing to do, if containment is the goal. No one is trying to contain the virus. It just a big circus show for the American people. Wake up people.

So again are you not adult enough to know when to stay home?
Know enough of what you need to have at home?
Know enough to decide what is best for you?

Your stats are wrong, it’s 1% and 3%

As per CDC (look it up) typical seasonal flu has a mortality rate of .1%. H1N1 was .2%. Mortality in China was about 2.5%. Elsewhere in the world is 3.5% but that's driven by skyrocketing deaths in Italy (475 dead just yesterday). In other countries with good controls, lots of testing and good medical care the mortality rate is in the 1% range. That would still mean if everyone got it in the US about 3 to 3.5 M.

The malaria drug, chloroquine, acts as ionifer for Zinc...allowing zinc to enter a cells cytoplasm.

Once in a cells cytoplasm, zinc inhibits the Virus replication by inhibiting RNA replicase enzyme. Viral load remain low. Patients recover quickly.

So far it has a 100% cure rate. You’re welcome.

And again mortality rate higher for seniors or underlying conditions. But since when does the world come to a standstill?

Not every cure that shows early promise survives clinical trials and is deemed safe for public use. I guess your QAnon sources forgot to tell you that.

Please provide a reference for your claim of a 100% cure rate.

                            Read this, then STFU:

Feeling confused as to why Coronavirus is a bigger deal than Seasonal flu? Here it is in a nutshell. I hope this helps. Feel free to share this to others who don’t understand...

It has to do with RNA sequencing.... I.e. genetics.

Seasonal flu is an “all human virus”. The DNA/RNA chains that make up the virus are recognized by the human immune system. This means that your body has some immunity to it before it comes around each year... you get immunity two ways...through exposure to a virus, or by getting a flu shot.

Novel viruses, come from animals.... the WHO tracks novel viruses in animals, (sometimes for years watching for mutations). Usually these viruses only transfer from animal to animal (pigs in the case of H1N1) (birds in the case of the Spanish flu). But once, one of these animal viruses mutates, and starts to transfer from animals to humans... then it’s a problem, Why? Because we have no natural or acquired immunity.. the RNA sequencing of the genes inside the virus isn’t human, and the human immune system doesn’t recognize it so, we can’t fight it off.

Now.... sometimes, the mutation only allows transfer from animal to human, for years it’s only transmission is from an infected animal to a human before it finally mutates so that it can now transfer human to human... once that happens..we have a new contagion phase. And depending on the fashion of this new mutation, thats what decides how contagious, or how deadly it’s gonna be..

H1N1 was deadly....but it did not mutate in a way that was as deadly as the Spanish flu. It’s RNA was slower to mutate and it attacked its host differently, too.

                            Fast forward.

Now, here comes this Coronavirus... it existed in animals only, for nobody knows how long...but one day, at an animal market, in Wuhan China, in December 2019, it mutated and made the jump from animal to people. At first, only animals could give it to a person... But here is the scary part.... in just TWO WEEKS it mutated again and gained the ability to jump from human to human. Scientists call this quick ability, “slippery”

This Coronavirus, not being in any form a “human” virus (whereas we would all have some natural or acquired immunity). Took off like a rocket. And this was because, Humans have no known immunity...doctors have no known medicines for it.

And it just so happens that this particular mutated animal virus, changed itself in such a way the way that it causes great damage to human lungs..

That’s why Coronavirus is different from seasonal flu, or H1N1 or any other type of influenza.... this one is slippery AF. And it’s a lung eater...And, it’s already mutated AGAIN, so that we now have two strains to deal with, strain s, and strain L....which makes it twice as hard to develop a vaccine.

We really have no tools in our shed, with this. History has shown that fast and immediate closings of public places has helped in the past pandemics. Philadelphia and Baltimore were reluctant to close events in 1918 and they were the hardest hit in the US during the Spanish Flu.

Factoid: Henry VIII stayed in his room and allowed no one near him, till the Black Plague passed...(honestly...I understand him so much better now). Just like us, he had no tools in his shed, except social isolation...

And let me end by saying....right now it’s hitting older folks harder... but this genome is so slippery...if it mutates again (and it will). Who is to say, what it will do next.

Be smart folks... acting like you’re unafraid is so not sexy right now.

#flattenthecurve. Stay home folks... and share this to those that just are not catching on.

Trump said it would disappear. Trump eliminated the agency that would have been able to keep America ahead of a pandemic with more protective equipment and ventilators and ahead of the curve coming.
