Not the same. Those are franchises and they have 7-10 around the US - its the same people who put on the summer camps. There are only 3 named as Barca Pro academies: NY, Miami (coming), and Brazil.

I can tell you that the other band named clubs (juve and psg) are about money and are huge in terms of numbers of kids. Barca is saying that they will keep it small. That’s good news for the other brands to rack in $$ but all of their talent will go to Barca. Year three they will play the best soccer in south Florida.

There are 2 Barca clubs in Orlando. Yes one is a franchise and their is also an academy.

You can never play because you have to show a reason why you are in spain.

It has to be non soccer related.

Also kids that are younger the u16 cannot be recruited in any way.

So MIC is.a Joke, Figo is fair cause they try to do the tournaments.

instead of "direct to barsa" which we all know is not realistic , why don't you sell consistent participation in spanish youth tournaments, like MIC and others, and an effort to place kids in the spanish youth system in general (not just barsa)... kids in this academy will not make barsa, let's be real. but could they be seen if really good and maybe play for espanyol or girona or other catalan clubs ...? there are like 10-20 youth clubs in catalunya all of which are probably playing better soccer than MLS DA ...
