A club will need great leadership to make it in the years to come its comes down to the numbers. Clubs will have to fine Rich Kids to support its life or its over.
Not really good point though. We’re talking about 20 kids per age group. 150 kids or so. Just opens up a few spots per club. At the da level of course. I perceive travel clubs will flip and affiliate for marketing purposes, nothing will change there except the kit. However what will be interesting is all the kids that get screwed at DA level because of $. My perception is there is some obvious bs going on in this pay to play system .

It maybe 20 players but don't agree the pre-academy and club level will take players away as well. So your looking at one tunnel of 20 players but your not looking at players that might be Academy players on Weston Kendall will go and play pre-academy. The marketing information from Beckham camp will have there own draw on best coaches and own ideas to maximize player development its in his own words he wants to develop great MLS players . So parents will flock to this training ground so the younger players U10 and up are going there no question this will impact for at least the short term the club even if its not DA level the money will lower and quality will go down to nothing .

There is no pre academy at mls clubs is my understanding. As for ore academy in Weston I think it’s a scam, there in level with white level teams. All status if you have the $

As long as they follow the Orlando City model, everything should just turn out perfect.

Most MLS DA programs do have pre academy programs.

FC Dallas and Philadelphia Union are the two best DA programs so if they look for guidance it will be those programs.

The will drive to win. Americans are used to paying for sports. They will gladly pay to be on a team where the talent is the best. Americans Chase the good teams and chase the points. It’s all the same. And there is nothing wrong with that so long as you have good coaching. There is no patent on good coach as much as the French and the Italians claim that there is. if you have talent it shows. This is not a complicated sport if you have talent. It will show anywhere you play. But you always pay. The idea of changing child labor law or contract law for soccer in America is a pipe dream. So put down the pipe and pay to play. If you kid has it he has it. Moving to Europe or South America means free soccer for the select few. But there you pay in a lot of other ways. So shut up and pay to play!
Player pools instead of "elite teams"

You are here in America because you were smart in getting out of your third world country, so show some respect.

                          MLS DA programs are free.
