Florida Elite is lucky to have one of the best Saint Johns County soccer parks in the state at Veteran's Park. It also utilizes many other parks in Saint Johns: Aberdeen, Plantation Park, St. Johns Golf and Country Club. It has parks in Duval County: Chuck Rogers, Losco, and Earl Johnson. It has one of the best facilities in Flagler County for Florida Elite Palm Coast development soccer program. And not to forget fine fields in Oakleaf in Clay County and at partner Florida Elite Tallahassee Tottenham. Not many youth soccer clubs can tout that. As much as people want to put down Florida Elite for using County fields, many other soccer clubs do the same and if they look in the mirrow they might be jealous that Florida Elite has so many nice facilities even though it could use more in central Saint Johns County for all the growth and kids.

Veterans would be much better if FESA did not use and abuse it with a heavy dose of kids from outside the county and local neighborhoods. Veterans is in sad shape usually and the fields are krap with turf as thin as sandpaper and sandy base. A drop of rain and they shut it down ASAP.

Soccer clubs can't have everything at once but it is the patience and cycles of growth. FESA's leaders and coaches need to keep breathing new wisdom, energy and passion into the soccer club and it will live on forever. They need to ask if they are making the right decisions, and communicating trust and loyalty through their actions.

There are no “nice” club soccer fields in Jax. All of them are about the same. The nice fields in town are at the private schools.

Ummm because they are paying the most? Plus, some ECNL coaches complained about Vets last Spring.
