You see we attract the best while you play that development card. Who developed Alex Morgan? Her little club in Diamond Bar? ODP? She actually gives credit to her dad. He was the one who went to the fields with her every day. Same could be said for most USWNT players. You never hear them talking about their club. It is always family and friends who get credit. Maybe because soccer is a journey and it you move from rec to club to regional to national without one coach getting credit for your development. It is the combined experience of coaches and trainers through all the years of development. The one constant is family and friends. Those are the only ones worthy of credit to most players.
