1% of CFC or any other premeir club in this state are highly sought after recruits.
High School place just as many players in college, probably more than Academy or premier.
Aside from probably Albertus Magnus or Eastern CT, there is no recruiting whatsoever that goes on in high school soccer. It’s not football.
For starters, fall is college soccer season. Two matches per week and training 5 days a week. They aren’t coming to local high schools trying to find some unicorn.
We typically have 20+ kids a year from CT go onto D1 programs. All of them are recruited from clubs.

If CCLS handles promotion.relegation properly it will all sort itself out. CJSA is toast

The top 1% should absolutely go and we play in the ECNL or Academy. Really no need for that expense and travel for the average player.

CCSL has done a pretty good job consolidating a very fractured landscape. CJSA realized it was too late in reviving its state leagues and has now aligned itself with EDP. EDP is a goliath and has many CT teams competing in its top leagues and now has also created a CT only league. The result of this is that you still have CT teams divided into two leagues. Until they all figure out a way to get into the same league it will all be watered down. Remember CCSL is apart of NYCSL which is US CLub. This battle with USYS has been raging for a couple of decades now. This is not new!!!
