Were the ecnl players put on the second teams paper rosters to keep SRPL and then the rosters are changed to have second team players? Paper thin

But sadly no one on those second teams earned those spots.

When a team finishes at the bottom of R3PL do they get removed from the league?

What happened to the US Youth Soccer philosophy of teams earning their way into FSPL, SRPL and NL? It is letting ecnl clubs and USClub rule its leagues.

You are all missing the point that these teams have earned their way in. Even if they come in last, the team earned their place in that league due to what they did at the end of the last season. No one is getting a free slot in these leagues. What probably happens with most of these teams - whom you believe are not earning it as their roster might look different, is that while some players have undoubtedly moved on or off of it, a certain percentage of last year's team remains, hence they can and should use that slot that was earned by those same kids that remain.

PLease send us the link that shows that. Calling BS on your ignorant comment. Besides you can't paint a broad stroke across all ecnl teams, they are as individual as any other teams and play in a variety of leagues.

The players who earned the SRPL league are all playing in the ecnl league. The players who are now playing in SRPL league did not earn the league. Is there a rule stating how much of the roster must remain the same? It is more ethically wrong when JFC switches the first and second teams names and points to keep the SRPL league.

You are the one missing the point. Exactly when did the 2nd JFC team EARN a spot??? They haven't, and that is the point. The top team earned the spot only vacating the position due to their well deserved move to ECNL. Their are 10 - 20 teams in Florida alone better qualified. Now let's include some of the teams from other states also better qualified. That becomes a very long list.

They knew the ECNL teams would not play in ECNL and SRPL. They knew the second team should have to start over and earn into the league like any other team must do. Who is sweet talking the US youth soccer leaders?

Get over it. Nobody is sweet talking USYS. Region 3 is full of second teams look at all the divisions boys and girls.

ECNL and DA is for elite players and those who don't make it play region 3.

We played them this weekend. They have about five girls that were on the top team at JFC last year and chose not to play ECNL or were not selected for ECNL. We beat them 3-0 the other night, but apparently they have not had much practice due to weather in Jax area. They move the ball well, but could not finish the other night. My guess is they will wind up being very good. My question is, if they have five girls that were on the top team last year, how did they not "earn" their spot? Do they need to go play in a lower league because most of the team did not "earn" SRPL spot?

Was your kid on the first team's bench last year earning it this year?
