This is simple. If Barcelona looses all its players due to x reason, does that mean they are relegated to second division because they don't have the same "quality" level? That's absurd. The spot belongs to the club not the team. If the club wants to use that opportunity to develop new players, that's the club's decision. If they perform, they can attract more players. If they don't perform, they will be relegated.

Time to build clubs with multiple opportunities to develop.

ECNL is a club based league they earned. Region 3 is based on the performance of that team. Losing 8 or 9-0 at this age is an embarrassment for everybody. You wasted the other teams time and money and they should be ashamed. How good is the development of you can't field a 2nd team that can say within a touchdown? Sounds like a region cup team

This 2nd team will get their a s s handed to them in this league. They got reamed with guest players from the top team. There are 30+ teams that should have had the opportunity to play in this league from the southern states. It is a travesty!!

us youth soccer prides itself on teams having to earn leagues. How about be proactive and fix the mess before it happens. Losing faith.

Did JFC believe the second teams would do okay? Roster can be updated the Wednesday before games and be ready for the ecnl guns to come in.
