I think you might be right. Both JFC teams need to find their groove and their style of play. Right now one moment they each look like the old PV team with controlled passing and composure and the next moment they look like the old JFC team with kick and run on. They're both still learning their new teammates, style of play and timing. If BU wins the ECNL bracket it will be because JFC hasn't settled into their new teams. BUT- once they settle both teams will be forces.

Did Boca's roster remain mostly the same?

Those PV teams been developing that style since u8 or u9. JFC players don't know what it like to play out of the back and possess but the consolidated pre ecnl team will be fine. Worry more about the future teams as pv does not have the consolidated teams it once had. Used to be Creeks players would consolidate over at pv but nothing is left over there, no good coaches left. The creeks and jysc area talent is staying at Florida Elite at the younger ages these days. So impressed watching all the amazing coaches and young teams training at Florida Elite.

As I said before, once the JFC teams find their groove, they'll be a force. Watching their games this weekend, it's going to take a bit and no one should expect anything overnight.

I think it gives some incite but it doesn't consider teams that played fullsided soccer last year. A loss to a u13 team last year is recorded with the same impact as a loss playing 8v8. Just like a win in 8v8 is worth the same as a 11v11 win. I think we need to get through September to have a better idea of how these teams shake out.

How does keeping JFC at 3 make any sense after they tied Space coast and Tied Fkk? They are probably a decent team but no where near top 10.

Ehhh. Same logic that says JFC(1) should have beat Pinecrest by more than 1 goal since JFC(2) did. I think we need to wait until September to start talking about rank movement. Had JFC(2) won the tournament I wouldn't have moved them up beyond them currently at 3.

Until we can all agree on who is in the top ten, there's no way teams can move up or down. FESA sure as heck ain't at number 5 and GPS is much better than 20.

I didn't find anything derogatory, sarcastic or offensive about that question.
