If we leave our current team, are we still responsible for paying tournament fees and coach expenses for the rest of the season? we have already paid the club fee and know that is not refundable.

why would you want to leave a team now? The season is just beginning, and teams haven't even had a chance to learn to play together. False promises made?

It's better to move on early than to be unhappy all year with a team. Life is to short and soccer cost to much money.

how can one be so unhappy already unless your kid is not getting enough playing time. or the team mates do not like them. Must be a club jumper if you ready to pull out before september.

The answer is yes! If you have accepted a spot on the team and signed the Club contract and did not cancel any transactions prior to August 1st you owe all fees affiliated with the team. Club Fees/Team Fees, etc.

Why ask a message board? You signed a contract with a club. Look at the contract. It should state what you owe or your buyout fee. If you want a bunch of anonymous strangers to tell you what the club can do then you will need to post all the documents you signed with the club first.
You could very well be liable for all those costs. The club accepted you and perhaps turned away another player based on your guarantee, you might have assumed a lot of costs without reading the fine print.

Don't listen to any of these @$$-Wipes. They all have their own agenda as should you.
Do what is best for your KID! The only thing that matters is 4 things
1) What playing time (if any) your kid is getting? Consider the following.
>>> If they are mid tier that's good. Don't want to be the worst or you will never play and if you are the best you are just making everyone else better.
2) what is the strength of schedule and level of competition? Will these benefit your kid?
>>> Be TRUTHFUL to yourself. Is the playing time your kid will receive against the competition they will face be sufficient for them to develop.
3) Is your reason for leaving soundly justified or personal?
>>> again be truthful. Is there a personal problem with the coach and your kid? Players and your kid? BOTH. Favoritism toward players not as good as your kid. HONESTLY or do you hold your kid on the highest petal thatNO ONE is as good. If so stop smoking that stuff.
4) what age group is your kid? If it's under U-12 you need to be patient. Not all players develo as gast as one another.

Sure! Screw the other parents on your team who have budgeted team expenses based on X kids, not X - 1. It might be nice if you offer to meet them part way at least.
