Any publicly traded company dealing in youth soccer should be dumped from your portfolio quickly.

Geography will always keep this club on the margins.

This isn't Staples and Office Depot. Jettisoning the club soccer business, or any part of it (i.e., PT), would be no different for the parent company than having a garage sale of its copiers, fax machines, and used office furniture.

Not that NEFC would have an interest in "merging" with them more than any other club they could add. Folding one regional club after another into their business has been NEFC's growth strategy for the past decade.

Hierarchy from UKE met with hierarchy of NEFC this week. Apparently a deal looks very close.

Can someone explain the strategy of making announcements about private deals on TS?

                        It's not a strategy, it's a wind up.

Who cares. This deal would mean nothing more than new uniforms. Same coaches, same teams, etc.

NEFC needs all the help they can get.

Except that it's means more players and more coaches which everyone seems to ignore means more money and resources. No way a mom and pop club can compete with something like what NEFC is putting together.

The only question left is when is the Bolts/Scorpions group going to follow suit and accept a NEFC buyout offer.
