Makes zero sense! Us development academy is suppose to be for kids who could play in the academy, not a bunch of foreigners from another country. It is oidricrous that oc is even contemplating this move. Monteverde isn’t the answer to oc money problem. Atlanta is kicking our butt and next will be Miami!

The problem with America is we keep thinking for soccer since everyone else does it better in other countries, let’s hite them, how is that working? We need to develop our own identity, fight and scrap to get it done and Figure it out. The Brazilians don’t even want to be in their own country, they want to be here.

It would work if we let these people do their job but we don't because we all think we know better and parents here are too involved and very entitled. And they all think their kids can be MLS players. It's delusional.

There needs to be a merger/partnership with HS and club otherwise no one outside of parents cares about soccer. It does not have the base that the other sports have. Even hockey works inside the confines of HS. Otherwise, club soccer is viewed like Polo. A sport for spoiled rich kids. Something to help pass the time growing up. Not a real sport like football, baseball, basketball, hockey.l
