Anyone want to talk about game results out of GPS Orlando this year? It's their worse performance as a Club to date. I don't even thing they have one team in the Disney Showcase this year. Quality is going down fast. And on that note they would be a perfect fit for ECNL in Orlando as all the local teams and ECNL programs in this league are terrible! Not trying to Club bash but the standings speak for themselves.

Why? GPS teams already play FNPL which qualifies to the exact same finals as ECNL. Why would you choose to do all the extra travel and expense when there is enough competition within the state AND YOU END UP IN THE SAME PLAYOFFS!

I get the branding of the ECNL has more cache from it's years of success on the girls side, but has proved nothing on the boys side (the people who run it tacitly admit that by having winners of each conference go to same playoffs).

Even on the girls side things are being watered down by GDA, some areas ECNL still better, others GDA is better. IMO, ECNL and NPL will end up being merged.

Merging ECNL and NPL will not become part of the platform, but it is good to see top boys teams playing in the NPL can qualify for the playoffs. Boys clubs that are ECNL should be allowed to have more teams automatically qualify for playoffs because they are playing harder competition than NPL level.

GPS in NFM is dying out, many less teams and not as competitive. They were successful by poaching players from other local clubs. The gravy train is coming to an end! RP will be looking for a new job soon:)

16 clubs are in NPL. I think there are a lot more than 16 clubs in Florida. 🤔🙄
