No. Your response should have been "oh. I am embarrassed that I said the Mass teams didn't belong on the same field as top teams from other R1 states. What a dummy I am for having posted that."

The Canadian team was better than all the R1 teams mentioned.

Foot meet mouth! You shouldn't talk unless you have the facts. The OP made you look stupid!

Stars beat Pioneers 1-0 yesterday in what looked like a battle for Region 1 4th place. Alas, PDA took down Smithtown and #3 Upper Freehold, leaving Stars and WUP in #5 and #6 place.

Pioneers beat NEFC 1-0 in NEP play a couple weeks ago. Of course, NEFC is only taking showcase tournaments seriously this year, so that game didn't count.

The top three teams in U17B are NEFC, Blazers, Stars.
NEFC looks very good and will be tough to beat. Ed Kelly is an excellent coach.

When NEFC has all of their starters back they are the best Mass u17 team. Injuries to key players can hurt a team against a good team like WUP. Let's see how state cup shakes out.

when and if......sounds like you took a book out of the Blazer handbook. When the time comes, either NEFC fields a team or not. Once they are on the field playing, there are no more excuses. If they win, great.....if they lose, then do so graciously instead of bemoaning what could have been 'if' or 'when'.
