    Thankful!

    Watching an old recruiting video of my daughter's (yes...it's worth It, but not how you think now). To everyone out there....especially those with U12-U15 (when the passion/craziness is at its height)...just enjoy it.

    Enjoy Lancaster...enjoy the (TOP TEN) following:

    1: The snow at the Scorpion Bowl and NEFC tournaments (the kids will always remember the snow banks;
    2: The heat and smelly porta potties at ODP and Stars Cup...the turf is blazing;
    3: The parking craziness at State Cup. The dirt lot....the stupid soccer moms who parked five feet away from the next car (and backed in crooked for quick getaway)...the "new" back lot for grass fields with the spotty golf carts;
    4: The terrible sewer smell by the pavilion;
    5: The mediocre food;
    6: Spending $10 to park at the Toyota Dealership (everyone's done it at least once because they couldn't deal);
    7: The Lancaster Target...seriously who hasn't killed hours between games there?;
    8: Killing time in the fall at Honey Pot Hill picking apples;
    9: Driving by the same great (and awful in some cases) homes on Rte 117 and wishing you lived there that day;
    10: KIMBALL FARM!!!!!!!!!

    Enjoy the ride....winners or losers it goes by too fast!!!!

      The freaky flea market across from Kimball is a great way to kill an hour or so. The people are usually more interesting than the merchandise, but a good show and for free.

        This is the most informatively valuable post I've read for the last six months or so. Love freaky flea markets! Thanks.

            Admit it, that was you and now you're embarrassed you were wearing women's clothes. We know REAL Men don't park crooked.

                  No, he did not say "ODP". He said:"Real men don't park".. It's RMDP
                  Don't pay attention. He is an idiot.

                    No food or drink beyond this point

                    Everyone eating and drinking on the turf despite the the signs that say don't do it. How much spilled coffee is in that turf anyway?

                          And your house, your shoes and socks, your child's knees. I think we should all start collecting the turf and on the last day of the season, Lancaster can collect it all and recycle it.

                            ...and the stressful moment when you pull in the dirt parking lot and ask your child do you have your white uniform (2nd color) in your bag and the child says "No". Has this ever happened to any other parent?
