It isn't that 4.6 % is a disaster for Obama, it is that anyone with any common sense doesn't believe it.

How can you not count people as unemployed , because they have been unemployed for a certain time period, and your status is not included in the figures. They would have that they just vanished ?

The true " unemployment rate " , that is , the percentage of people that NEED and WANT a job is closer to 15 %, maybe even more.

We could go deeper and then include part timers ( some have multiple jobs ) who can't obtain full time work .


But of course , when they have the send off party for Harry, ask the Democratic Leadership there what was promised by them in the last election for many American workers.. Programs, retraining, unemployment checks, more SNAP, etc...

Ask yourself what 1000 employed people bring to the community as far as what becomes of the money after they are paid? Bars, Eateries, Stores, car dealers, on and on. Charities get more donations, Civic Groups get more support, the list goes on.

Programs and empty promises deliver very little . That's all the Progressives have in their playbook. People need more than Hope to survive.
