Bingo D1 vs D3 doesn't have anything to do with academics. It's about actual soccer talent. When you have it and brains you get a lot of money to go to really great academic institutions and play soccer for them. When you don't mommy and daddy get to fork over a couple of hundred thousand dollars so you can go to a really great academic institutions and play soccer for them. Pretty simple actually.

This poster is basically saying that his kid is getting a full ride to a top-tier D1 school. I think that is a very unusual situation for a Massachusetts soccer player. How many players fit that model each year? My guess is very few.

Use your jump fishy strategy when there is at least a chance posts could be interpreted as not coming from you. The 3-4 cited in this thread, and several other threads today, are slam dunks.

True but the merger caused at least 1 year of flux were performance was impacted. Breakers and NEFC will go through the same issues year 1.

That would only hold true if you were merging teams from two youth clubs. In this case it's just a rebranding of one club's teams as another. Some of you just want NEFC to fail so badly your jealousy seethes through everything you write.
