for all, and followed their peers and their checkbooks to the next best thing. Have they really gotten better at soccer? Now you have training sessions with 30 kids to one coach, coaches on sidelines on the cell phones not engaged, and maxed out rosters with less playing time. The average kid might have regressed in their soccer skills, but at least they can brag that they play for such and such big name club.

You can also add that with the smaller clubs, which have mostly disappeared, kids were less afraid to make mistakes and played less scared, but just like land line phones, it's become "those were the days".
