the Revs blow overall, no doubt, but they still gather a good number of top are players. GPS also has some good players but not the depth. I doubt GPS wins, but should they I wouldn't read too much into it. Within a year or so any GPS players that is DA level will be gone anyway.

Man U squad so much better in every way than their competition. First touch, passing, shooting accuracy etc. They handled PDA 8-2 and Boston Bolts 10-1. Scores could have been much more lopsided. Hard to imagine anything different tomorrow when they play Revs. Revs May have won their other games today but this tourney is another reminder how US soccer stacks up against international competition.

My couple of takes:
Small field and only 50 minutes. If full field then Bolts wouldn't have even touched the ball too many times.
OTOH, MU didn't have any magical aliens playing for them. At least a few of the Bolts could have fit right in on the MU team. I think the biggest difference is that in other countries the kids are immersed in soccer relative to here so they can't help but have a better skill set. And that isn't happening here anytime soon so US soccer will be staying right where it is for the foreseeable future.
One more thing is that the Bolts kept playing with their heads up right till the end and were rewarded with their goal which was well deserved. A good group of kids.

GPS beat Bolts 5-0.
REVS tied Bolts, 3-3.
Man U walked thru 3 teams they faced. Played REVS, REVS had their chances, but Man U came away 4-3. REVSoutplayed them, but Man U took care of business ok n REVS mistakes.
I understand with this crowd REVS is in a no win situation.
