What happen, why is the merger not happening? Too bad this was the best move FH could make. Can it still happen?

I agree. FH blew it. Dynamo doesn't need them as much as they need Dynamo. A few years ago, different story, but the area is really growing around Dynamo and they will benefit big in the years to come. Plus they have the better coaching between the two.

The lack of leadership at hdt is appalling, short sighted daddy coaches wanting to rule their own little soccer world. FH is getting it together, region C champs, great coaching and expanded fields on the way.

There aren't any daddy coaches in the older age groups, stop with that garbage. Fishhawk has been "getting it together" for how many years now? And how many years more will you keep promising expanded fields? What your kids are expected to practice on is a joke, shameful. Little squares of the field for each team. You would have had access to both valrico and Summerfield fields had you not blown it yet once again.

On point. Was FH getting it together when they lost several teams from last season? Have it together with teams imploding this season and multiple coaching changes?

FH lost how many total teams from last year? I think that number is around 8 teams. Eight? Wow, that is the very definition of getting it together.

FishHawk isn't backing out of the agreement to help with the fields and will have use of field space at both when available. The partnership between the clubs isn't over, we will continue working together.

The common sense move and the move that would benefit the majority of kids and parents would be for Fishhawk to merge with WFF but the board won't do it because their kids might get lost in the shuffle. The majority of the kids that can make the better teams are already at WFF.

Not at all. TD still has first rights on the fields and no now will know the difference other than improved conditions.

Many Daddy coaches at HDT, they are just hiding either on the BOD or named as the "Assistant" and/or "Team Mgr"

Food for thought..... The better merger would be a tbu-dynamo merger. The mighty wff dragon would finally meet it's demise. Tbu would surround them from all directions picking up the fields in Summerfield and valrico. Also would tap into all of that new growth down in the south shore area.

That is a great point & I think it was mentioned several months ago that TBU was sniffing around HDT. The demographic growth of the area, large rec program & access to the fields (Summerfield & Valrico fields really are some of the nicer turfs in the area) make it very attractive to a club like TBU.
Who knows if it ultimately works out with FH, but HDT will merge with someone.
