I like your sense of humor about the coaching, priceless.

Heard the GDA reversed ruling on high school soccer for Thorns Academy seniors but not for the rest of the country. That could bring instant success to some schools, if true.

Why ruin a sea of dismal thug & boot ball? Strange stuff, if true.

How many goals did the best girl and coach score against UofJ?

The were the best because they held UofJ to just a 9-0 goal differential in 2 game.

Westview player and coach should have won those awards. They held Jesuit to 2-0.

If you can't beat them then lets change the topic to sex abuse. While we are at it we should include the sex abuse stories from Sunset HS and Beaverton HS. I didn't see anything from Jesuit or Central Catholic.

Yeah, because the Catholics never cover anything up. 🧐

I thought your post was funny. Travis named Metro coach of the year, but Fennah (Jesuit) was named the nations top HS coach by the United Soccer Coaches association. Jesuit women’s was snubbed by the Metro League, but was the only Oregon player named as HS All American and was named the MVP in the HS All American game

Gda isn’t reversing the no high school rule but players can always quit the gda. Why would they though unless they go to Jesuit? No one is beating Jesuit, even with Thorns defectors and they run the risk of looking no better individually than regular oysa players.

It's not like the GDA has very many good players. Some? Yes. Many? No.

LOL, probably true and UofJ kids get to do what they want anyway. UofJ privilege!!!!

Thorns allow players that want to play high school to be designated as training players, practices only. Then after the high school season they can be activated as full time Thorns players. If your kid is a strong player, they will likely get playing time, good exposure and connections playing in the DA league. I am not saying you cannot get these things playing in other leagues, but you definitely do in my experience seeing our kid play in the DA league, again if your kid is at least fairly good. If they are so-so or not as good, it probably depends on the actual team (year) and coach of that Thorns team whether your kid will get playing time and development upon returning. If you determine the answer is “no”, then USYS teams and ECNL teams schedules compliment high school just fine.

Nobody cares about Jesuit. What are the odds their is a molester in the ranks of that catholic organization?

                                Seriously, what are the odds?

If they were non catholic would you worry more or less?
