Both are having a subpar season in my opinion.

Not their best player. Probably should stick to football.

She's a good player and a good athlete, but needs to lay off the american football style tackles. She also needs to learn to defend better so she doesn't have to foul after getting burned.

At one point she got beat by my kid and proceeded to put her arm completely around her and throw her to the ground. I'm all for tactical fouls when it makes sense to stop the play, but that should have been a yellow as it was completely unnecessary. Could have achieved the same thing by just holding on or pulling the jersey without the risk of injury. Problem is, neither the HS coach nor her club coach want to change anything about that kid's game. They use her as an enforcer/bully on the field...

No, that team plays decent possession soccer. It has a number of players on it who have won a national championship with NEFC 2 years in a row. The issue with the player mentioned is her egregious fouling.

Which "watered down" National Championship did that team win with NEFC? How many National Championships are there today? Are they as watered down as Premier and all the rest of the clubs. Can't you tell by the soccer that is being played that all these championships, premier clubs, etc are fueled by the almighty dollar. Your/Our almighty dollar. Not worth it in this state after seeing what these coaches/teams are producing.
The comment here will be, "Well, you have to play on a MA team" Oh really? Same dreams being sold over the line, same stuff produced.
National Champions? Sorry I do not see a National Championship players playing high school soccer here. Hasn't been one since MKM.

B-ville and Pilgrim should swap next year. Surprised Portsmouth is down (although a lot of ties), but some of these schools like EG and them have had declining youth programs for a few years.

last year only two teams with less than 10 points..point made over and over..talent is not deep enough to support 15-16 teams in D1;

Heaven forbid they have RIIL go to four divisions that would be more competitive and balanced.., fewer games - maybe even ending the season a week or having less games over the season..

but hey, the PCOA is *so* about the students, right? I mean, they intervened despite an investigation that didn't show much to put Burrillville on the straight and narrow path of probation just like they did LaSalle where there was video proof on athletes directly on the team.. Oh wait, forget the part on LaSalle..
