The fields themselves.... Bad.. a goat patch... Always SOGGY and MUSHY. Very bad for players as they will roll their ankles. Soggy and mushy means that grass does not grow well. Also the Mexican pickup games played there also add to the terrible conditions. Oh and the smell coming from the drainage inlet between the fields and the port-a-lets....
TBU's comp teams do not even use them for regular training sessions, they are use by TBU's rec program for those rec coaches and parents that do not want to travel out of Carrollwood to Ed Radice. By side TBU has 9 fields at Radice, 6 at Monroe, and 3 at Largo. So to give up 2 crappy field does not say contracting, it says cost savings. One less field to maintain.

Sometime they work, most of the time they do not. The lights are really only useable on one side of the two fields. The other field only has bleedover from the lights pointing at the other field. Or those lights that are in the trees at really do nothing. Enough about the lights...

Last time my daughter played at ER, all the TBU parents could do was apologize for that unsafe joke. Hope they hired a new landscaper.

come on folks, we're talk the Lutz Rangers here. Really, Lutz? Other than 1 team, which is in it's last year together most likely, what has this club done? Nothing. Sorry, but I can't get excited about this at all.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostLutz is quietly developing a reputation at the younger ages and with WFF moving into the area also, TBU is going to start going downhill. They have a couple of good girls teams and one strong boys team, but if you look closer you will find that its simply no better there than the local competition. Add in the complacent staff they have, they better up their game otherwise revenues will decrease sharply.
