WF Flames unanimously voted to re-brand our club as Liverpool FC America-West Florida

LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB AMERICA Arrives in Tampa Bay!

On Thursday evening August 7 th 2014, West Florida Flames unanimously voted to re-brand our club as Liverpool FC America-West Florida. This exciting new partnership will be with Liverpool Football Club (LFC) UK and Liverpool Football Club America (LFCA), creating soccer history in the Tampa Bay area and the State of Florida. Many months of hard work, dedication and a great collaborative effort has given us the opportunity to make this historic move and become Liverpool FC America-West Florida.

West Florida Flames is the first club in the state of Florida to partner with Liverpool FC America. The resources that this partnership brings will elevate WFF to the next level, both on and off the field and positively impact every player, family, coach and staff.

One of the many benefits of this move will be that our players will learn, understand and train 'The Liverpool Way'. In addition, our coaches will be able to use the latest coaching techniques/ training programs used by the Liverpool youth system and academy in the UK maximizing their potential development as athletes.

Why is this partnership good for WFF?

Throughout the 8 month process of negotiation, we found that both Liverpool FC America and WFF share key fundamental philosophies and values, including but not limited to the core principles of Character, Quality and Tradition, that have made Liverpool FC one of the strongest sports brands in the world today. With over 100 years of history the Liverpool FC's foundation for success is there for all to see.

Liverpool FC America was launched in 2006 with only three teams and two coaches and one vision, to be the best soccer club in America . Currently ranked as one of the largest clubs in Texas with over 150 teams, Liverpool FC America is dedicated to creating something far greater than just a competitive soccer team on the field. Liverpool FC America creates the "Liverpool experience" in the lives of their athletes. This is the tangible difference the brand, the approach and the attitude makes in the lives of the athletes.

In addition to launching Liverpool FC America-West Florida, we join with Liverpool FC America- Texas and Liverpool FC America- South Carolina to form LFCA with plans to continue to grow into the largest and the best club in America.

To begin the partnership we will immediately launch the program at our South and North Tampa locations starting this coming season with full club integration within the near future.

    You are invited!

BFD. Really...who cares. The coaches won't change what or how they train. Just a new kit you have to buy. Have fun with that.

Sorry, but that's an example of 'famous last words'. They won't pull it from Clearwater just to give it to you, and it won't be a new DA program. So...I'll believe it when I see it.

Not near ready to take anything away from CLW, especially following the Rowdies announcement. Replacing the U14 DA from TBU…. in a minute.
