Funny the thread started last year with a very similar OC proclamation.

Could well be though. MLS funding and visibility will eventually draw all talent within a reasonable commute. The problem is that OC will end up with little competition in the state...at least at DA level and maybe top purple team.

So does OC lose talent to their OC team? I heard the DA OC team recruited from many other clubs.

OC's quality is now in DA; Purple team will be top 20 type, but not in the same class as last year's Purple team. For Orlando area, Rush lost a few key players but will still be a tough team, top 10-15; Acys is solid again and should stay top 10, but lacks quality to be a consistent top 5 team; FCA is gone; and FKK is improved but still behind the rest. How about Tampa area and South FL?

OC will lose some of those kids to DA so not sure what the new team will look like but likely will continue to be the best in the area. ACYS is not solid as they lost a few of their better players to OC and their depth was awful they are also sending out emails that they need more U14 players. Rush also will lose a couple kids to OC DA but Rush will stay strong. Not sure about TBU since TBU does not have full DA those parents are always bashing it so I am not sure how DA affects that team. South Florida is always strong at any age. But again better players will be swept up by DA.

lol--yeah because the new Miami MLS team won't be able to field teams stacked with talent to compete with the might Orlando area.

Ok OC homer, thanks for the input. Acys did lose just one starter to OC and wish him well. How many starters did OC purple lose to DA? Acys first team is still solid with a full roster , but we have space on the second team.

If OC DA needs to fill their team with 00/01 players from last years rd of 16 team, they are in trouble.

Maybe 1, 2 at most offered spots.
