If you are looking for a new club. Come watch training any night. You will see good things happening.
See, that's where you are wrong! By your own DOC's admission, your club failed miserably this year and that would probably mean in the training of its players too, otherwise your entire coaching staff wouldn't be let go and your players are fleeing to better clubs! I believe that if a player or family leaves any club and they do not return, they must like it better a their new club. If you feel strongly that Boynton is the place for you, no one is forcing you to leave. You will pay much higher fees, probably as much if not more than what neighboring clubs charge, and you will get less than what those other clubs offer since they are far more established.

BK is a perfectly good rec level club but if youre kid is premier level travel they need to move on

Good point. BK needs to fire the DOC and shake up the Board. They have an opportunity to build a feeder program that trains kids the "RIGHT" fundamentals so they can move on to bigger clubs. A strategic alliance with BU or Wellington could be good for the program and the kids. Because its about the kids, isnt it? Not the money????

The problem at Boynton is that it has always been about the parents and the board, not the kids.

Training might be good but here is what I have noticed, most teams have 2-3 good players, a couple mediocre ones, and a couple that probably aren't even good rec players. The rec players are brought up to fill out the rosters. A lot of the better players leave once they get beyond U11-U12 or so. Once a few leave, their friends and teammates follow. Boynton needs to find a way to retain some of these players, then maybe one day they can be successful.

                  Politics

Boynton is really trying to make some changes for the better, but unfortunately, it took too long for them to realize that they needed to make them in the first place. As a result, you have had so many good players leave the program when they get to the older ages. Until the politics and agendas of a few people on the board are eliminated from the equation, people will always be skeptical of what is going on there. Either you have a DOC that has the authority and ability to make any and all soccer related decisions or you don't.

Seriously..... you can remove the name "Boynton" from the above post and put just about any other club name in there, and the statement would still be correct. Go bash someone else.

We lost a lot of our older team's players to Team Boca and FC Florida and that's fine. Those girls ( or their parents wishes ) want to play in college and we wish them well. But thats not for everyone. Boynton is a great organization, we enjoy the families here and our daughter has a lot of fun with her friends. In the end, that's what it's really all about for most kids playing sports. Please be more positive about people's choices as they decide what's best for them and their families and
Please stop the negative posts about Boynton.

she won't have "fun" anymore because they don't care about your daughter. They want to make little individual superstars. Remember the idiotic comment that the DOC wrote?

                          Not bashing

I am not bashing Boynton, I am actually happy with my daughter, her team and where she currently is on the boynton knights, for her it is good. But when we have a meeting nby the DOC, he is surrounded by board members and they talk as much if not more than the DOC, I have to again ask who is actually making the soccer decisions, the DOC or the board?

The board is making the decisions, when they finally decided to go with a DOC they made sure that he had limited power. They were afraid to give him too much authority and control.

The DOC is doing quite well and he does care of the kids.

What other clubs?? Go to Wellington with all those little ego's running around on the pitch claiming to be better than everyone else or go to Boca United where they have to poach other club players so they can win games since they do not have any good talent in the club to make a complete team. Where they focus more on winning than teaching/development.

You must be follower or friend of Teresa/Greg Bond or Michelle/Brian Steele..
