    u17/18 DA 2015/16 for 97/98's

Will Orlando City be the best from Florida this year? 1 win and 2 draws so far. After a few games, it looks like Boca will have a tough first year in the program.

Lighten up, Frances. It's a simple question, one that should start a conversation, not trolling accusations.

I personally don't care, as long as Weston has some competition in the area it will help the selection process, and give more opportunities to kids. I only wish that Kendall had the same type of competition.

Thought Kendall was Weston's local competition? Sorry, but 3 DA programs in SoFla is too many. Boca should not have been given full DA. I would rather have had IMG go away (since it's basically a private program for the richy rich and not your everyday player) and have another Tampa area club get in.

Population in Tampa is to low to support a second full DA Club.

Alright, Junior. We'll excuse you lack of knowledge this time, but please check facts next time before you make dumb comments like this again. According to this link, which measures TV market size, which is based on population, the Tampa/ST Pete/Clearwater market is 13th largest in the country. Miami/FtL market is 16th. So yes, Tampa could easily support another DA club.

One day we will all realize it is a crony game how DA get awarded. Just one opinion

They might be able to support, south florida certainly can.. think about it, the total in one age group between the 3 da clubs well be 66 total players from several counties... before boca it would have been omly 40 +.... They should at least have a first division Da and a second division da within the same clubs, and force then to adjust approriately their rosters....

                        TV Market as Demographic Data?

How about we try BLS: http://www

How about you look at real demographic data before spewing your "facts".

                        Miami MSA: 6.4 million

                        Miami Dade Alone: 2.4
                        Browerd: 1.7

Tampa MSA: 2.7 with the DA in a county with less than a million, you could argue the club should have to move its fields to Hillsborough to take advantage of the surrounding population.

The more important statistics for the discussion is the number of people in the area under 18

                        Pinellas CTY: 155k
                        Miami: 1.3 million

I'm still waiting for Tampa to have a competitive DA Program. A lot of the top local players refuse for Chargers because of poor coaching/training.

ok, but half the people in the Miami data are here illegally!

No, you got it backwards as usual! Your kid didn't make the team because he wasn't good enough. The sooner you come to grips with this fact and stop blaming the club, the faster you can move on with your life!

By the way, you never answered to question: does your kid know that you're a useless internet troll?
