This is no different than what many clubs do. ECNL clubs like WFF are stacking the rosters for their second teams to maintain a place in leagues. In some areas they are trying to pull from many clubs to form an elite travel team. Why not mix it up for a tournament that doesn't matter?

Other clubs come to play your top teams and you offer nothing for them in the opportunity to win anything.

They can't win BONUS Points because the NEW team has none.
They can't win Finalist or Semi-Finalist points because this NEW team has dropped the flight value.
ONLY the NEW team created can win anything. What is the incentive for teams to come in the future then?

The fact that this was done the night before the tournament is proof. Had this been done earlier the few good teams that DID come probably would not have.

I know FKK and Rush would not have. They could have gotten better points someplace else. Than a diluted flight value pool.

You are mistaken. The B team (FC America Black) is a new team this year. That's why there's no history. The GPS ORLANDO team is last year's FC America team. The name changed. There's nothing untoward about what was done . In fact, by mixing the teams, it gave the other teams in the tournament a BETTER chance to beat the A team, which FKK did. So there should be no cause for complaint. Just turns out the B team was the better of the two teams and won the tournament.

It is time for a bigger alliance of FKK/GPS, PDA, and Florida Elite and other clubs in northeast Florida to come together to build another Florida Showcase. The ECNL clubs may want to participate too unless they want to keep to their Sanford Showcase and the National events they do.

The issue is getting college coaches to come to a REC club showcase. These clubs aren't going to attract Florida coaches and out of state LMAO.

Orange Classic, CDL showcase and state cup has all these teams playing and look at the college coach attendance drop off in recent years. Coaches go to ECNL, DA and some National league events.

It takes time to build but another big Florida Showcase would be great. There are many talented teams and players in Florida and the southeast. FKKGPS Alliance Cup and Florida Elite southeast preseason tournament could be combined for something bigger. HM and Bubb and GPS have the connections to bring in top teams. Not all the college coaches can go to Disney over the holidays. It gives the players and college coaches more opportunities. I'm sure there are ways to bring in good teams and coaches with incentives, start with low cost fees to register top teams to build it. This doesn't need to be done for a huge profit at first. Cover basic field maintenance and ref costs. Do it in the spring and have the Fl Elite partner the Boston Breakers and HM's Jamaica team play one night during the Showcase. Get creative and build it.

If you could read, you would see that this team did not play ANY games last year. The old team disbanded. This is a NEW team this year. Maybe it is using a legacy name, but the players are all new. Hope that's not TOO confusing for you...

Support the clubs by letting them rent the Auburndale complex for its tournament. Help them secure Publix as its big tournament sponsor.

What does one have to do with the other? BSA is a new alliance anyway. If they are "selling out" to ocys (which isn't confirmed), it is because they want the pro affiliation and ocys wants to keep the pipeline open to continue to obtain brevard players

I think you are hitting the koolaid again. I think the mls club will be able to bring more in the long run and be honest, who wants to come to Disney on a 2 day weekend, when they will be back the following month at thanksgiving or at Christmas. They probably were just here at Labor Day too.

If you could read, you would see that this team did not play ANY games last year. The old team disbanded. This is a NEW team this year. Maybe it is using a legacy name, but the players are all new. Hope that's not TOO confusing for you...

They have had 2 teams all year. The roster on that "NEW" team you call it has changed at least 7 times already this year. With players going back and forth between both rosters. For a "presumed" parent at this club you certainly don't know Sh1t about what's going on in your own backyard.
