Of course, the coach is a big factor as well. You want a good fit there.

But GDA also makes it very difficult to do other activities, so that is part of why it has been a tough sell.

And what NPL? There are many varieties and the level of competition in that is going to be uneven there as well.
Factor in cost and travel as well.

LISC has put up banners saying "A new beginning" and indicating there will be an announcement tomorrow (Wed 6/20).
1. It's a little late to try and convince players -- most have already had to commit
2. What sort of announcement is this? Coaching staff? Is it going to be anything that might cause people to rethink joining there?
My understanding is that they had light turnout for the 2 GDA age groups.

I have seen plenty of "big" soccer announcements touted over the years. If this one is is of real significance it will be a first.

What about LISC EDP (daughter didn't make DA) or NPL?

One component of this is definitely a staffing announcement -- either team coaches or directors. That has been expected for a while.
There may be a second component to this which involves (most of an) entire team playing under LISC instead of another club...
