Nothing is ever done for the kids in the Tampa Bay area. It is all about the massive egos of the "leaders."

Something is definitely going down. That project is going to need a mega club to support it and will be done this year. If the WFF don't figure this out, their little tiny club in the middle of Brandon will be left in the dust. Or what's left of it already. If they haven't figured out what's going on in their own backyard it would be par for the course for how they've done things in the past.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostAgreed. C.S. from TBU has a track record of showing that he can "reach across the aisle" and cooperate to come up with a "win-win." This could really be a vehicle for uniting Tampa Bay youth soccer and helping everyone involved. Hopefully, folks will approach this with a spirit of compromise to benefit the families involved.
I have to admit, I'm interested in seeing a united TB youth soccer program. A large club like you see in other states (Colorado, Michigan, Georgia, etc.)

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostC.S. at TBU was the point person responsible for growing CASL into one of the top showcases in the country (just as showcases were getting popular). Hillsborough County would be smart to give TBU and C.S. access to the new multi-sport facility to grow a new national showcase there. A merger/partnership/alliance between TBU and WFF would be a good thing to set the stage for many more integrated soccer activities in the Bay area.
