While I agree with you basic point, where you are wrong is the birth year. U14s are 2001s this season and u15 are 2000s. That is why OC had "play up" since they are primarily 2000s.

Just so everyone is clear....The U14 DA team is playing up to u15 and actually has some true u13 players attending. 11-1 is still a serious beating, however, there is more to it than just the score line.

Oh come on.

Why does every parent explain a loss by suggesting that a player was missing or, in this case, that they were playing younger kids up?

I am here in Dallas and I have seen the Frankfurt team. They have some really small kids as well. Who knows? Maybe they are even U13.

If you sign up a team in Dallas, you should bring your best. If your best does not compete well, then you know where you are.

If OC decided to bring their brand new academy team, from their barely pro team, to compete against a long-standing academy team from the top German pro league, then they should show up with their strongest on-age talent.

If they really brought U13 kids to play against the best in the world at the U15 level, then they should all lose their jobs, because that's just stupid.

Chances are that this team is their best team and they don't measure up yet. Why should this be a surprise? It's a Bundesliga team against a recent semi-pro club. Get over it OC. You are just getting started. You are not that good yet. Be patient.

Nope, completely wrong--this current season "on age" U14s are 2000s. Next year's "on age" U14s will be 2001s.

Think chargers just tied oc 1-1 few weeks back and easily had more chances to win that game. They do have some nice skill but do not play attractive soccer. Way to many long balls to fast forward.

Its unfortunate but every team has a bad day and just because you are a DA team does not mean you are immune from having a bad game. Although this team is definitely not as strong as the last U14 DA team that went to Dallas, it is a good team. Every 11-1 game starts the same, early scores and then the game gets away from you. Its unfortunate, I would hope they finish strong and do well the next 2 games.

Why do we always have to cut down other clubs? Maybe OC had a bad day or Eintracht is really that good. Either way, I'm going to root for the Florida team(s). Collectively we should want to raise the National perception of Florida clubs. Unfortunately this did not happen here, but best of luck the rest of the way OC!

Really????? You think that makes you equal go OC and Weston???? Get real. Jacksonville beat Kendall last week. Does that make them better than Kendall????? One game doesn't mean that Chargers! It means that ON THAT DAY you may have been playing equal or had things go your way with officiating, injuries, kids emotions, etc. but it does NOT put you on the same level for the season!

Agreed...they likely made a mistake sending the team to this tournament. It doesn't make it a bad team or club. EINTRACHT beat Dallas Texans 3-0, who is no slouch. I have a feeling EINTRACHT are very strong.

Let's see what OC do in the rest of the games. Maybe they will be competitive in the rest. I will still pull for them regardless as a fellow Florida Club supporter.
