Liverpool will be its own club next year. WFF nor TBU will have anything to do with it and neither control the parents or the kids. This mentality of TBU and WFF thinking they own players and parents is what makes everyone mad. From season to season, everyone has the right to change clubs and go where they think it best for their situation. No club controls this decision. If you put a good product out, people will buy it, but if you treat people like crap and don't put out a good product, people will leave. It's really that simple and that is what these big clubs have lost sight of.
They are fighting with each other to see how "big" they can become and not really paying attention to the needs of each "local" community. It won't work in the long run and recent history of mergers and failures across the area are a good indication that they will not work in the future if the intent of the mergers is not done with a focus on the kids, which none of these mergers have been. WFF and GTBFC are already having problems. I wish that the situation for these bigger clubs were different as there is a lot of talent in the area, but it isn't and it will continue to hurt the soccer community as they continue to fight over the wrong principles and for the wrong reasons. There is a way to provide for the local kids that just want to play and provide for the "elite" kids that truly have talent to progress to next levels, but with the egos of these boards and directors, that will never happen here. Sad but true.

Shows how much you know about nothing. LFC would never ask TBU as there was a mass exodus from parents and coaches last year because of their displeasure with the club. TBU got their feelings hurt and tried to sue people. They lost by the way. LOL

Couple questions. Can LFC have it's own club at the current location? Wasn't the only reason they were able to have the location so close to TBU S was the affilation with WFF?
Will the new LFC be this WFF branch. Just separated from WFF? Or will they look elsewhere and start over.
Last. What has WFF Liverpool FC or what ever they are called received from LFC that makes it worth staying attached. The old coach from TBU I see being the draw, what have they actually received from LFC to want that name so bad. I only know one family from there. Except for a intro practice when it was first announced, they said they did nothing from LFC itself, but maybe they just missed out on things. Or maybe it is a Coaches thing with training.

What was really gained now looking back a year later. As parents of former TBU players what was TBU doing that was limiting your child's enjoyment of soccer and the development? It obviously was not the coaching because you left because of the coaches leaving and continue to have the same coaches. Your practice schedule and training is the same. You actually had to pay a little more and had to get new uniforms for your kids, so it was not a cost issue. Your kids team dropped From the CDL and had to play USA Divison 2, so it had nothing to do with the league they were in. Your training field is not better and is only a few miles from Monroe. SH left before you guys even started so you did not even get to keep him. You went from in your view being neglected by TBU, and now the same you claim is being done by WFF.
I can see it how it was a gain for AM and the coaches. AM went for U9 Academy coach to maybe director of said LFC in Tampa. Now that LP is offering him a better deal he is willing to drop WFF like he did TBU. Seems a pattern, convince the parents that directors are evil by using the team managers to spread the word, and then get their kids to follow them, since with no soccer players no team.

Maybe if someone was straight up and sold youth soccer like a product, and I mean a product that was better than what is out there they would attract more customers. I never can understand why parents put up with these crazy Kabuls that run soccer clubs with all these artificial rules and restrictions they put out there which of course is only to their benefit.
