From what I understand and for everybody's information, 14 of the 21 girls that appear on the OYCS U17 ECNL current roster are committed. And since some question it and there is some skepticism, below are the schools in no particular order ( to the best of my knowledge)

    DI
    Villanova
    East Carolina (ECU)
    Missouri
    Florida Atlantic (FAU)
    Miami, FL
    Auburn
    Florida Gulf Coast (FGCU)
    Manhattan College
    Troy St

    DII
    FIT (3 girls)
    Eckerd
    Armstrong St

    Of the 7 not committed:

1 played in only one game all year (is on roster but is full time member of state cup purple team)
1 Tore her ACL in first week of season and has not played all year
1 was moved up to team from the state cup purple team halfway through the year
1 is a true U16, so not ready to commit yet although from what I understand she has LOTS of options and may be getting close
1 is getting ready to commit this week apparently
2 are very picky and have turned down many offers but are looking at a very small group of schools

Feel free to judge and pick apart positively and negatively as that is what is generally done on here, but here are the facts which were requested with cynicism.

Congratulations to all of your girls. It is a very difficult process for teenage girls to go through. Best of luck to them and every girl in the state of FL that will go on to be a collegiate athlete.

I agree, congrats, but I also think it was just one jerk on here bashing (he can't seem to get enough), so comments a little harsh; thicker skin. That's what the non-ecnl club parents have grown out over the last two years!!

Agree. Stop the bashing/questioning/doubting and congratulate. Nice list and it is in fact an honor to be a collegiate athlete. Congrats to all

Is #9 heading to Richmond? How are the results up there in Seattle? Did your GK get red carded because you seem to be giving up 5 goals a game? And game 3 is against, Slammers. At least they already qualified so it shouldn't be too bad.

How is your ranking in ECNL, oh that's right your daughter didn't play. Instead you sit behind the computer bashing 17 year olds. At least they made it to Nationals how'd your team do in State Cup oh yes that's right they were knocked out and never made it to the finals in State Cup. Give it a rest

At an attempt to keep the facts straight - they didn't make it to the Nationals - they made it to the Champions League Playoffs, which is the QUALIFIER for the Nationals. They didn't qualify, so they will not be going to the ECNL FINALS or also known as NATIONALS in July. Almost half of all ECNL teams make it to the Champions qualifier (32 of 76) - which means just about half of the teams from each regular season conference make it. The other half go to one of the two showcases. Not bashing on OC - they are a very good team - it's just that it's not really that difficult, especially in the SE conference to make it. Of the 4 teams from the SE conference none of them won their group, but all had negative goal differentials. FL ECNL (actually the South East division of ECNL) has a way to go before being truly competitive with the rest of the nation.
