All of it is flexible. Internships and jobs may be put on hold. Or if part of curriculum, incorporated into the return.

D1 kids especially in the money sports realize that your job is being a student athlete. That is why kids choose different divisions for the ability to choose. In many D1 programs, the choice is made for you when you agree to play in the top division.

Did you just wake up? Neither is shutting down school mid March and discontinuing spring sports and trainings. None of this is normal. Things are being adjusted in all leagues to help get the fall season underway with school and sports.

                Saw this too. https://journalstar.com/news/local/e...a9ddd9879.html

Some schools starting early to finish early before Thanksgiving to avoid second potential outbreak season. The list is growing everyday.

several athletic conferences have announced no playoffs as well - less travel = less exposure for athletes and staff.

Less games and less travel has nothing to do with less exposure, it is about budget cuts, saving money.

                      Agreed.
TS means talking soccer but based on some posts seems to mean Totally Stupid. No vaccine for that, yet.

Or, it has to do with BOTH.

True. Ivy league does not have playoffs. But they have small conference so not as many games/teams play only 7 total conference games.

Talking soccer doesn't talk about soccer. It talks about politics within youth soccer and how many people hate one club over another.

Heard some schools are belly aching that they won't have enough kids on their roster because their internationals are not allowed back in under the travel ban. Boohoo. Next time, buy American.
Can someone say walk ons? Hahaha

This article mentions Creighton as participating in this bring em in early thing? Is the Big East doing this or just Creighton?
NCAA needs to make sure all of this is equitable especially in each conference. Can't allow some schools back on campus early and not all.
