Really? Except for the fact that it's GPS and who knows what the heck is happening with them I don't see what the issue is. The link says register if you want to try out and we'll update you on the details once the Covid situation becomes clearer. Again, why is there a problem with clubs trying to get prepare for next season as best they can (putting aside that it's GPS - or is your only issue that it's GPS in which case maybe post on one of the GPS obsession threads).

We're being told it will likely be the first or second week of June for Phase 2/Back to limited training. Once we're back on the field, we've been told that "organized tryouts" will not happen this year. Any player who is interested will be asked to join a training session for coaches to get a look at them.

We have asked new players to join on our virtual technical trainings, but that wasn't a tryout, rather it was to introduce the player and family to the club and team. This is for a club in the NEP/NPL

That's how majority of tryouts are now. Player comes into a team, you see how they do. Traditional tryouts are a way of the past. Unless #everydayisatryout with the new NECSL
