    Miami MLS Franchise USSF Academy

Okay, all indicators are that the Beckham franchise will be in Miami. Start date tbd but lets assume 2016.

All current MLS teams have a USSF Academy. If Miami holds true to the same, this could mean finally a Florida USSF Academy with a no pay structure. Also I may be wrong but I don't see (3) USSF Academies in Miami Dade and Browards area. Who will be the odd man out?

yes. we are hoping they do more for the ECNL girls as well but the boys have already been announced as fully funded. In fact they just gave or in the process of giving refunds to the current boys.

ECNL does not have us soccer (ussf) as their governing body. It is us soccer that helps make the decisions about fully funded program--NOT OCYS
for ECNL ocys is the only ECNL program that paid for conference out of state travel for the girls. Also other clubs charge over $2000 a year plus all travel. OCYS was at $1400 and paid for out of state conference travel. OCYS has done a great job for the girls of ECNL this year. Training over 4 days a week and have sports performance training. It was a great Value this year.

It does not matter who they bring in, once all the top teams are selected; then all the mad parents of kids that were cut from the team will still get on TS and talk bad.

Training over 4 days a week? You must play for someone else. We didn't even do that during the height of season. The small coaching staff tries to find every reason why not to practice. Rammel is the worst!! For instance, girls were encouraged not to play high school since before CASL and yet ECNL only practiced once a week. They refuse to practice when high isn't playing and only schedule them during high school games. Making things worse the girls weren't even allowed to practice at the club over the weekends as has been the history. Makes it even worse since the membership owns the fields. That's why parents bought and built the fields but some how big Phil's boys ignore that. All OC teams are unprepared going into ECNL, Disney and Orange Classic but they will blame high school and NOT the fact they haven't been practicing! Much easier to blame rather than do your job!

Look for OC to unravel similar to last year after these poor performances. Lots of cracks in the armor that will be exposed because people aren't as happy as they appear.

The only parents that will be unhappy at OCYS are the ones that know their kid will be exposed when talent from the Southeast starts showing up. ECNL will take some time to get legs but the MLS designation will immediately take OC from a top 5 to the premier club in Florida. You'd have to be real thick to dispute that. I'm driving two hours next year to have my son play for this club....in other words, one of your own just slid off the bench.
