You are incorrect. If you won state cup last year, you get 7 pts in the seeding process. Only teams in this year's FSPL that finish 1st or 2nd will get more seeding points. Other participants gets less, and the champions from the other leagues in FYSA get seeded AFTER those with seeding points. RPL, PLE and NL will get more. Maybe you should check out the info on the state cup page of the FYSA website.

      I read the rules knucklehead!!
R3PL, PLE (no FL teams in NL) get 4 points just for participation + points for FSPL.
FYSA leagues are FSPL, R3PL, and PLE.
Just saying that the best teams are not in FYSA "Premier" leagues

The SC Champs get seeded 5th, whilst a team that is at the bottom in every league it plays in is #1 seed.

Why are SC champion pts so low? FSPL points seem very high? 10 points for winner of league? Doesn't make sense.

All teams have roster turnovers, even those that won SC last year. Why should a team even get points from something they did last season??? Shouldn't they be seeded on this season's achievements?

It makes sense to FYSA and that is why they do it. They are "encouraging" all clubs to join their leagues by giving you the best seeding you can possibly get, just by participating in their leagues. You can be worst, and still get ahead of teams that won SC last year (if they are not also in FYSA leagues, which for us, we were not).

At what point would you award last years winners of SC anything? after it is over? well, they do and those last year winners of SC get to carry that to this year. Otherwise, they would never benefit from their win.

Because the seeded teams have earned it and you have not earned it. If you are really any good then you will have no problem beating all the lower end teams that just sign up for SC just to say the did SC. By the way, you will be getting more practice for your team anyway. I applaud FYSA for this format, much much better.

Says the bottom feeder who gets points just for being a DII in the FPSL.

Ok, wise guy. Looking at the U17G, why do the unseeded teams in group A (Region A) not have to play any games! All three teams advance to R2 without playing a single match. Same for Region D, no games played and the team advances. Then in groups (regions) B and C, both will play X number of games, and 1-2 teams from each group will not advance. Where is the fairness in any of this? Please don't come on here with garbage that if we are any good we'll get through it all and advance. there is no fairness in this set up. Compounding it is confusion for those teams in groups B and C. It appears Round 1 (B) will break down 9 teams into three groups; expect they'll play the normal three games? But what is group C doing? it appears all teams will play against each other in just one group? and under that is says "Game 5 TBD. What?

                                What are you talking about?

There are 9 teams in Region B. Most likely 8 of them are going to advance. How is that not fair? If you are the worst of those teams, be lucky you aren't advancing to waste more money going to Palm Coast. Region D has 1 team advancing, 2 teams if you count Bayside being a seeded team.

What would you like them to do? Region A only has 3 unseeded teams, so all 3 advance. All 3 are better than half of Region B. If anything, I'd be mad that many Region B teams are advancing. Only good teams from there are OCYS P and FKK. The rest are crap..

Funny thing is PV plays R3PL, PLE, State Cup Champ, get overall 2 seed, and now get SCU in their group.
